About NCSFA: The National Conference of State Fleet Administrators is a non-profit organization with approximately 200 dedicated fleet professionals founded in 1987. NCSFA is supported by more than 350 fleet professionals from the corporate community. The goal of NCSFA is to improve its members effectiveness and productivity through quality education programs and providing ongoing peer networking opportunities. Though our group may be small by comparison to other professional management organizations NCSFA's presence is widely recognized in the fleet community for its efforts to educate state fleet management officials and legislative bodies. On average, each state purchases about $21 million in fleet and fleet related products annually for a combined annual purchasing power of about $1 billion in new vehicle purchases. When fuel, parts and commercial services are included the annual purchases rise to between $2-2.5 billion dollars. Collectively, the combined states own fleet assets in excess of $17.7 billion and circulate over one million fuel credit cards. |
