Member
definitions
All Memberships are for
individuals, not companies or agencies. Your membership entitles you
to specific benefits and privileges not available to non-members.
The membership is open to representatives from state government,
university, colleges, and municipal sector fleet agencies,
authorities and institutions in each of the United States, its
Territories, Canadian provinces and the District of Columbia..
Regular Member
Regular Membership within NCSFA
shall be granted to any member agency fleet administrator who has
responsibility and authority over a [state government] fleet of
motor vehicles. Additional members from a member agency are also
considered Regular members. [Regular members are eligible to hold
office, have complete voting rights to select NCSFA officers and
make organizational policy decisions] Each organization can
designate which member shall be the "Primary" member for their
state, university or government organization. (Example: DAS member
is designated as primary and Forestry, DOT, and others are
designated as "Additional Members".
Additional Member
Additional members are regular
members that belong to the parent state, university or government
entity and are not designated as the "Primary" member.
Associate Member
Associate Membership shall be
granted to federal, municipal or local government entities or other
public sector fleet administrators with responsibility over a fleet
of motor vehicles. Associate members shall be non-voting and shall
not be eligible to hold office.
Corporate Member
Corporate Membership shall be
granted to private sector representatives involved in providing
goods or services related to fleet administration. Nominees for
Corporate Liaison shall be selected by the corporate membership.
Corporate members are eligible to serve by nomination as the
Corporate Liaison.
Retired Member
Retired Membership shall be granted
at no charge to former members in good standing upon their specific
request. Retired members shall be entitled to access to member
information for non-commercial purposes, newsletters and attendance
at annual meetings in accordance with Article III, Section 6.
Retired members shall be non-voting and shall not be eligible to
hold office.
Press member
Press Membership shall be
granted to members of media who wish to provide media coverage of
NCSFA activities. Press members can be offered at reduced or
non-paying status at the discretion of the Executive Committee.
