Here is the link to
the guidance document that DOE and NREL developed
for fleets to understand how to make an application
to DOE for Alternative Compliance. The guidance
document is a complement to the rule that was issued
March 20, 2007. Over the next few weeks we will also
issue online tools and a tutorial that will help
make this simpler for fleets that want to go through
the process.

respect to the nation's alternative fuels and fleet
programs. Members of NCSFA are subject to
compliance with DOE guideline and DOE has now
consolidated its efforts at providing current

The Vehicle Buyer's
Guide, which is related to the AFDC Web site, helps
fleets and consumers select AFVs that are right for
them based on costs, specifications, and

DOE Clean Cities Program
The website
www.ccities.doe.gov
focuses on services offered through the Clean Cities
program which many of NCSFA members belong to and
which is sponsored by the US Department of Energy
to further public-private partnerships in local
